Birthcard Astrology: The Aces

“The Desire for Knowledge Card”

The desire for knowledge, accompanied by the desire for love (Two of Hearts Karma Card) are the main ruling influences for this card. Combine these together and you have a person who is a student of love as much as one who would find their ideal mate.

This card is known for promiscuity, but this is only true until they find the person of their dreams. They would rather be with anyone than be alone but will not give themselves fully until the right person comes along. Like all Aces, they are impatient and restless. Their curiosity leads them to be avid students with immense libraries.

They are very smart and can use their brains and creativity to generate ample funds. They can make money in things associated with the arts or groups of women. Their later years will not be satisfactory unless they turn to spirituality for guidance. They are the divine discontent card and need travel and changes in life and their work to satisfy both their desire for knowledge and their inner restlessness. “The Desire for Money & Love Card”

The inherent passion in this card can be expressed in a variety of ways but it always seems difficult for them to have both money and love at the same time. Perhaps this is because there is not enough energy to acquire as much as they want of both.

In any case we find these people striving to attain one or both most of the time. They are often loners in spite of their desire for love contact. They can be impatient and mercenary, or they can be the greatest givers. These people are creative and capable of working two jobs at once. They meet new people every day and much of their good fortune comes from these meetings.

Romantically, they are often indecisive, or they attract others that have difficulty making decisions. They like to be away from their loved ones for periods of time. All of them are inclined to be psychic. If money or power does not take top priority in their values, they can have lives of great satisfaction and accomplishment. “The Desire for Love Card”

The meaning of the Ace of Hearts, the first card in the deck, is the “desire for love”. However, the desire for money is also present because of their Ace of Diamonds Karma Card. People with this birth card have strong spiritual inclinations, but they are often “tempted” off the path by indecision and their hidden desires. More than other cards, they can have the best success by turning this indecision into creativity and many become accomplished writers.

In any case they need some variety in the work that they do. All are Capricorns so their work is important along with a desire to achieve something of importance in this life. Much difficulty in later life is avoided when they turn their interests towards metaphysics. They should avoid a tendency towards fickleness and promiscuity if they are ever to find the peace of mind and heart they are seeking. Giving brings them the highest rewards. “The Card of Ambition & Secrets”

The Ace of Spades is the ancient symbol of the secret mysteries, the most spiritual card in the deck, and yet, also the most material. The Ace person usually has a life-long conflict between their material, worldly urges and their deep, past-life spiritual heritage. Their displacement and Karma Card, the Seven of Hearts, suggests trials in the realm of relationships.

Their mission is to find the inner peace that comes through a life of service and dedication to higher principles. As their karma from previous births is discharged, they come to realize this and learn to follow the unwritten law of spiritual truth. In many ways they have put themselves upon the cross. Whenever they deviate from the law, or disregard their spiritual nature they seem to be unjustly punished. Those Ace of Spades who are mostly material-minded seem to have one problem after another. However, whenever they do follow the law, they are protected, finding the inner peace they seek through awareness of their wealth of spirit.

More About The Aces

All Aces regardless of their sex, will have a somewhat masculine nature, either physically or just as part of their personality and will reflect this masculine, creative principle in their lives. Aces know very well about creating and manifesting. Their lives are a constant chain of one creation after another. They exemplify the creative force and are conduits of many new ideas and projects. One might say that they are constantly receiving input from some higher force to go forth and create something new. They love new beginnings and they love to see their ideas come into materialization. Seeing, hearing, tasting or touching something they have created brings them great pleasure. It is part of their birthright to bring many things into being which were not there before. This brings them the greatest satisfaction and the greatest challenge.

Aces are not usually known for their patience. With so much to accomplish in this lifetime and so little time to do it, they hardly have any time to waste standing in line or waiting for others to finish their sentences. They are bubbling over with the desire to make something happen. It is not in their nature to wait for something to happen. They often dislike waiting in lines, either of people or in traffic. If they seem a little short with you, it is because they have something important that they want to get done, not that they don’t like you.

However, they can also be charming and caring. Three of the Aces …the Ace of Diamonds, Ace of Clubs and Ace of Spades each have a Two as one of their Karma Cards. This hidden influence brings a certain amount of caring and consideration for others, mostly because, on some level, they need the presence of other people in order to feel complete. It is a paradox that the cards that often feel the need to be by themselves also have a great longing for the perfect mate or companion. They also excel at communications for the most part. Their lives are often an endless flow of phone calls, e-mail and letters. They are surrounded by people most of the time. Don’t be fooled by this appearance, however. Aces are individuals above all else. They need time to themselves to explore who they are on a basic level. Being an Ace means being self-absorbed to a certain degree and many of them can be categorized as loners, even self-engrossed. In spite of the Two influence, nothing means anything in their life if it is not contributing something to them in a tangible way. If their relationship with you has outlived its ability to give them something they want or need, you may be history.

The Ace of Hearts personifies the “Search for Self” in more ways than the other Aces, though they all have undertaken this search in one way or another. Their suit tells us in which basic area of life they emphasize this search. Ace of Hearts people search for themselves in their relationships. This includes not only lovers and mates, but family and friends as well. The Ace of Clubs searches for his or her own meaning through the books they read and things they learn in other ways. Like the Ace of Hearts, they too seek the perfect love relationship that will fulfill their deep yearnings for completion. The Ace of Diamonds finds conflict between their driving ambition and the desire for companionship and marriage. They cannot seem to have both at the same time. Like all Diamonds, they tend to value themselves based upon what they have or how successful they are financially, they seek to acquire or attain something that is so valuable that it will make them the valuable person that they want to be. The Ace of Hearts person usually has difficulties in love that make finding happiness seem impossible. They often abandon the idea completely and let all of their passion express itself in their work and careers. Perfection in their work, either through quality or quantity is their means of finding the love for themselves that they seek. They are considered one of the most ambitious cards in the entire deck.

In all cases, the hidden motive for the Aces is self-acceptance. However, since there is so much masculine energy being expressed as action and accomplishment, they seek to find themselves in the reflection of their accomplishments instead of just stopping and looking within. Hopefully they will love what they have created and complete the circle, discovering that what they were looking for is already within them. They are the prodigal sons and daughters seeking to come home.
