“The Mentally Creative Card”

Creative or dishonest? Which is which? As we can imagine, those who are the most creative can also be the most dishonest and vice versa. Here is a card of mental and financial creativity and these people are no lazy bones. Their brilliant minds are far ahead of the common person and society. They are the people of the Aquarian Age.

As members of the royal family they dislike pettiness and tend to be somewhat impatient with the failings of others. They need respect and a position that allows their brilliant minds free reign to create and explore. They are never at a loss for ideas, some of which will bring them huge financial returns. On the negative side, the Jack of Clubs can be irresponsible and in some cases, dishonest. They can see things from so many levels that nothing is really “wrong” – it is just another way of looking at things. They don’t get away with much in that regard though. Saturn’s swift chastisement always reminds them of the boundaries that keep them balanced and fair in their dealings. “The Salesperson Card”

This is the salesman’s card. These people are sharp, clever and always able to make a good living using their wit and charm. They are very independent and creative, and operate as much on their instincts as they do on their quick minds. They can always get along and do well in life by virtue of their inherited financial expertise. Few heed the call of their highest ideals and become the King that stands close to them.

Their natural psychic ability can lead them to direct spiritual realization but all Jacks are fixed in their minds and often this prevents them from exploring that which is one of their greatest gifts. All Jacks can be immature and crafty, due to their vast creativity and they usually mean well even when they are not able to come through on their promises. They love to be social and they are the best salespeople in the zodiac. They must find a career that gives them an outlet for their creativity and recognition of their superior talents. The United States is a Jack of Diamonds (July 4th). “The Sacrifice Through Love Card”

As one of the three fixed cards, the Jack of Hearts feels strongly about their version of love. They are surrounded by the Christ spirit of sacrifice through love. Even though they are a Jack, which are sometimes immature and crafty, they are influenced by the wisdom of the Christ spirit, which gives them higher guidance and higher motives in general. They must watch, however, that their martyrdom does not get out of hand. They can also become escapists and misguided, but this is the exception. Love is their power and birthright.

They have come to love others and to show them the way by their example. They often make sacrifices in their life and their personal fulfillment may be given up for some higher cause or philosophy. As born leaders, they must be successful in their own profession. They all carry the spirit of higher love within them and all people they associate with are in some way uplifted by their presence. They find their greatest fulfillment on a spiritual path. (Scroll Down for More Information about the Jack Personality Type.)

playing cards - jackspadesJack of Spades

“The Actor Card”

Through an excess of mental power and creativity, the Jack of Spades can either become a visionary or a thief. This card also represents the spiritual initiate. Among these people we find those who have either or both qualities present. There is no doubt about their creative power and their ability to do anything with their minds. The question is whether or not they direct this energy with wisdom and patience or whether they are lured by the “easy wins” they can extract out of many situations and move towards the low side of their card.

They sit in a powerful place and this power can either take them to the highest or tempt them to the lowest. These people always do well with the public and can become successful artists or actors. They often inherit money even though they can make enough on their own. They are usually ambitious and it is their basic value system, usually a result of their childhood, that is most responsible for their direction and success.

More About the Jacks

“I won’t grow up!” — Peter Pan

The Jack is the youngest member of the royal family. He can be looked upon in several ways, all of them meaningful. First, he can be seen as the Prince who will someday become the King. As the Prince, he is youthful, romantic, creative, witty and charming. However, he has not yet been given the responsibility and power that comes from being the King. Nor does he want so much responsibility. Jacks just want to have fun and play. At the same time, they want to be treated with respect and some measure of admiration. Someday, perhaps, they will become Kings. The transformation from youthfulness to responsibility is one of the most important life-long themes for the Jack person.

Another way to see a Jack is as the counsel to the King. He has influence with the King, but has his own interests at heart. He sits in the royal court, but assumes none of the overall responsibility for what happens. He can be bribed if you want him to act on your behalf in influencing the King in a certain way. Overall, he is somewhat dishonest but very creative and resourceful in keeping all of his affairs in balance without getting caught. He is a master of deception and stealth and can never truly be trusted.

These two pictures just about sum up the usual qualities of Jack Birth Cards. The youthful creativity is there in overwhelming abundance. Along with that is the temptation to misuse that creative energy for fun or profit, or simply to avoid unpleasant situations that one may have to face as a result of being 100 percent honest. The Jack of Hearts stands out as the only exception to this, but in truth many of these people also succumb to the misuse of their creative forces. However, overall, the Jack of Hearts has such a spiritual connection that they tend to focus more of their energy on being the martyr or savior and don’t have much time for the craftiness of the other Jacks. Still, they are Jacks, and every once in awhile even they get that mischievous gleam in their eyes that tells you they are up to something.

But Jacks are also deemed the initiates of the deck. Initiation implies rising to a new, usually higher level. It is this new beginning that implies ending of some past ways of being. For the Jack, many of them are here to show that they can rise above their material nature to one that is more spiritual and less attached to worldly goods and matters. For a Jack to be truly self-realized, they will have to access the higher qualities of their suit in some fashion. This would mean the J of Hearts becoming a vessel for spiritual love, the Jack of Clubs for spiritual knowledge, the Jack of Diamonds a representative of higher values and the Jack of Spades an example of one whose life is lived on higher, spiritual principles. Many Jacks achieve this and many do not. In their highest expression, they represent that person who has lifted him or herself up to a higher level of self expression. This also implies letting go of their lower natures, which in many cases are quite strong and difficult to renounce.

Jacks are always tempted to misuse their tremendous gifts and many of them will never rise up to anything but a thief. They have such a creative mind that they can tell lies that anyone would believe without question. This mind represents a great gift, but it is up to them to put it to a positive use. Those that do can achieve much. Their naturally mental nature also makes it more difficult for them to know their own feelings. When they have so much success using their minds, their hearts are rarely used in getting what they want. All of these qualities combine in the Jack person to give them their life’s biggest challenge – to seek the solutions to their problems by looking within, instead of using their wits and craftiness to get by. This turning within is the initiation that all Jacks represent.
