Channeled Sessions

spirituality[Scroll down to listen to a channeled session.]

To be honest, I am uncomfortable using the word ‘channel’ as there are so many interprettations and personal beliefs attached to this word. Rather than try to define the word, I’ll tell you my experience of channeling – and why I have been a ‘closet’ channel for over 20 years!

First of all, anyone can easily ‘channel’ through the medium of writing. I have facilitated classes and simply told the students to write a question and then think, “If I knew the answer, what would it be?” This question removes any feeling of pressure to get the ‘right’ answer (because you know you don’t know the answer) and it’s OK to just ‘make something up.’ Yet in the process of ‘imagining’ an answer, the students quickly began to see that the answer became deeply meaningful. I’ve watched this happen with every person open to trying this approach!

When you know there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ answer, it’s really quite easy to ‘allow’ information and ideas to ‘flow’ without any effort, rather than trying to come up with a solution in your analytical mind. This is how I began writing ‘channeled’ information in 1990. Later I discovered I could do the same thing by speaking the words instead of writing them.

The first thing I learned was the importance of being an ‘observer’ and getting my logical mind out of the way. With practice, channeling became the easiest way to quickly get answers. The best part was discovering answers that were completely unexpected!

The reason I have been a ‘closet’ channeler – only channeling for close friends – is because I could not change what was ‘coming through’ without altering the process. Especially in the beginning, my voice would change a bit, I would talk in a different accent, I’d refer to myself as ‘Heather’ and everything was spoken from the perspective of ‘we’ – as in “we suggest…” etc.
I found this to be quite embarrassing! Yet if I tried to analyze what I was saying, I couldn’t stay in that space of ‘allowing’ the information to flow.

Recently I began feeling more open to the idea of channeling for phone sessions, but then the feeling ‘expanded’ to sharing this information online – which was genuinely frightening! I tried to ‘get out of it’ for a few days, but the thought came to me over and over again, until I finally decided it was time to get over my fear and just share what I have to share!

All the channelings here are audio, and each one has a title and description so you will know what interests you and what might apply to a current issue in your life. I hope you find this information helpful!
